How a parking lot differs from an ordinary yard

Commercial parking has more intensive traffic, more frequent turning and localized loads. Warehouses and industrial facilities may also have truck traffic. This affects the base structure and the choice of asphalt-concrete mix.

Drainage and slopes

A large flat area without a planned slope quickly becomes a place where water constantly collects. Before asphalting, drainage points and finished elevations are therefore defined. Drainage elements and trays are installed if required.

Base preparation

The base must distribute the load and resist settlement. Work may include removal of weak soil, filling, grading and layer-by-layer compaction. Learn more in the section base preparation.

Parking lot asphalting price

The price is calculated by area and scope of work. On a large site, the price per m² may differ from a small yard because of logistics, material volume and equipment productivity. Basic reference prices are available in the price list.

Repair of an existing parking lot

If pavement damage is local, it may be enough to perform pothole repair. For rutting, settlement or widespread cracking, consider asphalt replacement or milling the existing layer.
